Biogas doesn’t get the coverage it deserves.
That’s not a controversial opinion. It’s just true. Farmers are achieving genuine energy independence. Communities closing the loop on waste. Engineers building systems that sit at the intersection of climate resilience, agricultural economics, and circular thinking. The sector is doing serious, consequential work, and it deserves to be understood on those terms.
This publication is an effort to make that happen.
The Mission Behind This Publication
My mission is simple:
Highlight the projects, people, and ideas that are shaping the future of biogas.
This publication exists to create visibility for the biogas sector by bringing insider knowledge into the open and giving the people behind the work a space to tell their stories properly.
That means going beyond press releases and industry reports. It means sitting down with practitioners, project developers, researchers, and operators and asking the questions that get to the heart of what they’ve built, what they’ve learned, and why it matters. Then, translating those conversations into something that helps a wider audience genuinely understand the significance of this sector.
The biogas sector sits at the intersection of so many critical challenges: energy security, waste management, rural development, and climate resilience.
But too often, the most meaningful work happening in this space isn’t being communicated in a way that reaches beyond the echo chamber.
